Andrew Romero

Classically trained in art, Andrew Romero calls Ink Couture Tattoos San Antonio home.  Renowned for his bold graphic color, watercolor, anime, surrealism and realism, Andrew is equally adept and linework, blackwork and black and grey.  Over the years, Andrew has become a San Antonio institution synonymous with excellence and perfection on the skin.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
I've been drawing for all my life, I even went college and pursued a degree in art.  I've been inspired mainly by the incredible art in video games such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring. 
Tell us about your preferred style of work?
My preferred styles of work include anime, neo-traditional, traditional, new school, and anything regarding bold and brilliant colors.

What other styles are you known for?
 I am also known for my black and grey, stipple/pepper shading, minimalist tattoo work.

What inspires you as an artist?
What inspires me as an artist it the constant improvement in my work with every tattoo I do.
