Ink Couture Tattoos Austin location is home to internationally acclaimed tattoo artist, Jorge.  Fluent in English, Spanish, French and Japanese, Jorge is also fluent in numerous tattoo genres. Specializing in Japanese, anime, custom color work, black and grey tattooing, illustrative, to neotraditional, smooth shading and more, Jorge is a master of tattoo versatility.

How long have you been tattooing professionally?
Since 2020.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
I was working as an engineer and I would draw on my free time. One of my coworkers was telling me I should be a tattoo artist, the next day he introduced me to his artist and I tried to do a tattoo on him. One year later I broke my leg during work hours and I thought it would be a good idea to learn how to tattoo and try a career change.

Tell us about your preferred style of work.
Anime tattoos are definitely my favorite. 

What other styles are you known for?
Small tattoos, traditional tattoos, Japanese traditional, color tattoos, video game tattoos.

What inspires you as an artist?
Pushing my limits and progress every day.​

I'm born in LA from Mexican parents, raised in France. I can also speak English Spanish French and Japanese.  😊
