Kaitlyn joins us by way of Pennsylvania where she earned a cult following for her crispy thin linework and fine line tattoos.  A resident artist at our Ink Couture Tattoos Austin location, she is best known for her single needle, fine-line, micro-tattoos as well as floral, geometric and micro-realism styles, although adept in many tattoo styles.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
​I've always loved art & always have been creative since I was little. I used to be in sales & excelled in every position I acquired. Sales started to become slow & I had more free time to do more of the things I loved. I’ve tattooed before on fake skin so I had a set of everything, & slowly started using it more & more. My friends started telling people & I was given the opportunity to be an apprentice & it all went up from there!

Tell us about your preferred style of work. 
A style that I love is fine line work and micro realism. I love to give clients super crispy lines with such a small needle. 

What other styles are you known for?
I'm also known for my Geometric, Floral, and Lettering tattoos.

What inspires you as an artist? What inspires me is my personal experiences, music definitely & my drive to be better overall as a person.

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?I build a really good relationship with all of my clients & I am super understanding. My personality is the main reason why/how I built my previous clientele as quickly as I did & I make people comfortable throughout the entire tattoo process. Getting a tattoo can be scary & I allow my clients a safe space to be as open & honest as they need to be.

Anything else you'd like prospective clients to know about you?
I just moved here last month from Pennsylvania :) I like to sing, workout, play with my puppy & try new restaurants! Oh— I also LOVE pink! :)
