How long have you been tattooing professionally? I have been tattooing professionally for over 9 years in licensed shops. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some amazing artists, continue refining my craft, and take on a wide variety of projects. Those years have given me not just technical skill, but also a deep understanding of how to bring a client’s vision to life while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience in the chair. What inspired you into the art of tattooing? My inspiration for tattooing started at a very young age. My grandfather played a huge role—he would mail me art projects and creative exercises when I was little, sparking my passion for drawing and creating. That early encouragement set me on a path of constant artistic growth, and over time I realized that tattooing was the perfect way to combine my love for art with my desire to connect with people. Tattoos are more than ink; they’re personal stories, memories, and self-expression, and being trusted to create that for someone is what drives me. Tell us about your preferred style of work. My preferred style is Black and Grey Realism and Fine Line Black and Grey. I enjoy creating highly detailed, realistic work that captures depth, emotion, and texture. Black and grey realism allows me to bring portraits, nature, religious imagery, and even abstract ideas to life in a way that feels timeless and bold. At the same time, I enjoy fine line work because it balances that intensity with clean, delicate designs that flow beautifully on the skin. What other styles are you known for? While my specialty is black and grey realism, I’m also well known for color tattoos, cover-ups, and script lettering. I love working with bold, vibrant color blends that really pop, and I take pride in transforming old or unwanted tattoos into brand new pieces clients can wear proudly. My script tattoos often combine fine-line precision with creative color mixes, making each one unique and personal. I’ve built a reputation for being versatile while still maintaining a strong artistic voice in each tattoo. What inspires you as an artist? I draw inspiration from many sources—art, music, film, and even everyday life—but most of all, I’m inspired by my clients. Every person who sits in my chair has their own story, whether it’s honoring a loved one, celebrating a milestone, or just wanting to express who they are. Being able to translate those stories into tattoos keeps me motivated and constantly evolving. On top of that, I’m inspired by the challenge of always pushing myself further—trying new techniques, blending styles, and creating something that feels one-of-a-kind. Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist? Clients choose me because I bring both artistic skill and personal connection to every tattoo. I take the time to really listen and understand what someone wants, then combine that with my years of experience to guide them toward the best design, size, and placement. My clients often say they appreciate how comfortable and cared for they feel during the process, whether it’s their first tattoo or their tenth. My goal is always to create something they’ll love for life—art that feels like it truly belongs to them. Anything else you'd like for prospective to know about you?Tattooing is more than just a job for me—it’s my passion, my craft, and my way of connecting with people. I treat every tattoo, big or small, with the same level of dedication and detail. I also want clients to know that I see tattoos as a collaboration; I bring the skill and artistic eye, but together we create something personal and lasting. Whether you’re looking for a large-scale custom piece, a fine-line design, a cover-up, or a bold splash of color, I’m here to make sure you walk away with something you’ll be proud to wear for the rest of your life. |
