A passion for perfecting her craft, Caitlyn "Kat" has dedicated the past 9 years to her skills in the world of art/sfx makeup which naturally evolved into the world of tattooing.
Kat is best known for her unique style that blends dark art with beauty. This translates into a dark beautiful macabre blackwork style of tattooing, however, she is also well known for her neotradtional, linework, and black and grey stylings.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
I grew up briefly in an art group “Death from a Brush;" being around all those artists was heavily influential. Since then, I have been an artist for 9yrs working with acrylics / airbrush. Perusing tattooing seemed fitting I wanted to transform what I do on canvas - to something permanent.

Tell us about your preferred style of work.
My preferred style of work is blackwork, stippling / dotwork & fine line. Obsessed with having elements of anything gothic, horror, macabre or Victorian influenced.

What other styles are you known for?
I am versatile and excited to explore more styles whether it’s black and grey, fine line or American traditional.

What inspires you as an artist?
Definitely my personal interest music/movie imagery. Throughout life I always gravitated towards dark art whether it involved sfx makeup production, fine art or commissions. I love to create something others will adore!

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?
Time and experience. I can go from recreating an image to free-handing most things -- just give me the chance to draw and let’s sit down have some fun while we are at it.

Anything else you'd like for prospective to know about you?
I've been doing tattoos for a long time now and I still love it. I’m a goofy person who probably crack way too many jokes when you're in the chair, but my art is serious. I'm all ears and my chair is always welcome to fun stories and good times. Let’s work together I’m in it for the long run.
