How long have you been tattooing professionally? I’ve been an artist in various mediums since 2019, specializing in Cumbias and Contemporary Art. I began tattooing professionally in 2024, and it was an experience that elevated my passion for art to new heights. I started my tattoo journey in Kerrville, Texas, where I had the privilege of learning from one of the best artists in town. I spent my first year at Ink and Sheers, working alongside and learning from this talented mentor. What inspired you into the art of tattooing? Art has always been a part of my life, with a family of artists who nurtured my passion for design. Tattooing, however, introduced a whole new dimension to my creative expression. My fascination with tattoos and spending time in tattoo shops, surrounded by incredible artists, inspired me to take my art beyond paper and onto skin. It felt like a natural progression of my artistic journey, one that has allowed me to expand my craft in ways I hadn't imagined before. Tell us about your preferred style of work. I am particularly drawn to watercolor tattoos, minimalist designs, and lettering. I love how these styles offer so much room for creativity and expression. While I have a clear preference for these, I enjoy blending elements from various styles to create something unique for each client. My goal is always to make the tattoo an experience that feels personal and artistic. What other styles are you known for? I'm also passionate about realism, and I love to work on projects that bring intricate, lifelike details to the skin. Whether it’s a portrait or a nature-inspired design, I enjoy exploring the depth and detail that realism offers. Every tattoo is a new challenge that pushes me to grow as an artist. What inspires you as an artist? Nature, animals, and the world around me are my biggest inspirations. I grew up on an island, spending countless hours drawing everything I saw in nature—whether it was animals, landscapes, or intricate details of plants. I bring that same love for nature into my tattoo work, using the human body as a canvas to tell stories that reflect the beauty and complexity of the world. Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist? Clients should choose me because I believe in creating art that is meaningful, not just a design to fill space. I take the time to understand each individual’s vision, ensuring that the final piece resonates with them. Whether it’s your first tattoo or your tenth, I work closely with you to ensure that your experience is as enjoyable as the artwork itself. My goal is always to create a lasting piece of art that you’ll love for years to come. Anything else you'd like for prospective clients to know about you? I’m committed to making the tattoo process as comfortable and personal as possible. It’s important to me that my clients feel heard and that we collaborate to create something truly special. Every tattoo is a chance to leave a mark—both on the skin and in the memories of those I work with. My aim is to provide an experience that exceeds expectations and leaves clients with a sense of pride in the art they wear. |
