How long have you been tattooing professionally? 3 years in a professional scenario but have been tattooing as a hobby since my teenage years. What inspired you into the art of tattooing? Tattooing is a very raw and sacred form of expression that transcends time, body, and soul. I was naturally drawn to the art of tattooing through music, skateboarding, and overall being an illustrator growing up. These forms of expression are very deeply connected within the community and bleed into each other in many beautiful ways. After further being exposed to the tattooing world through friends, family members, musicians, and skaters I looked up to and began to delve into the craft of body modification as a teenager. Never thought this fascination with drawing and body art would end up turning into a fruitful and ever-growing career for me. Always learning and progressing. Tell us about your preferred style of work. I love working with traditional, geometric, tribal, illustrative dot work, and blackwork motifs. What other styles are you known for? Fine line, anime, video game, script, ornamental, and abstract styles pique my interest as well. What inspires you as an artist? The divine knowledge of depth, proportion, and the natural occurring mathematics within nature/sacred geometry endlessly fascinates and breathes life into my creative process. I appreciate the culture of primordial and traditional tattooing aspects and how we are evolving this movement to new heights. Marking the body with permanent art tethers us to a very spiritual realm of assurance in existence and belonging. Being apart of this exchange of energy and facilitating positivity through body art expression is something I take a lot of pride in. Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist? Creation is my purpose in life and I put my heart into every piece I do. I thrive on making your artistic vision a reality and look forward to each new person I cross paths with. Anything else you'd like for prospective clients to know about you? If you’re looking for a down to earth artist to collaborate and work with you are safe with me. |
