Ink Couture Tattoos Austin location is home to resident tattoo artist, Jose.  Specializing in all forms of black and grey tattooing from realism, to illustrative, to black neotraditional, smooth shading and more, Jose is a master of the black and grey art style.

How long have you been tattooing professionally?
I have been tattooing at a professional level for over 5 years, there hasn’t been a single tattoo I haven’t put my all in to.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
What got me into tattooing would have to be able to mix my ideas with clients ideas and creating a masterpiece that not only could look good on paper but will look good on there skin forever. 

Tell us about your preferred style of work.
I love Black and grey realism, in my eyes there is no better way to truly show contrast, depth, and skill. Not to mention the longevity you get from this style of tattooing. 

What other styles are you known for?
I consider myself versatile in all style of tattooing, I appreciate any art style and treat it with the respect it’s earned.

The ability to bring someone’s idea to life.
