Located at our 281 North/San Pedro location, Will excels in multiple styles, but is known for his passion for traditional and neo-traditional tattoos. This passion, and being a US Army veteran himself making him the "go-to" artist for many of the military cadets and personnel stationed in San Antonio.
What inspired you into the art of tattooing? My love for tattooing itself and trying to make the industry a safer place for clients to come and get a good quality tattoo and some quality input artistically and verbally. Tell us about your preferred style of work. My preferred style is under the umbrella of traditional. American traditional and neo-traditional. I love color art and what it brings to tattooing. Don't get me wrong I do love black and gray; however, I love working with color just a little bit more. What other styles are you known for? I am also known for black work, lettering, watercolor, tribal, black and gray traditional, geometric, cartoon, minimalistic, and new school traditional. What inspires you as an artist? My love for artwork and the industry makes me thrive to be a professional tattoo artist. Every day I thrive to be a better artist than I was yesterday. I want to be the best artist I can be. Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist? Because I believe that I can give a client the best possible tattoo that they can think of. Whether it be something challenging or something simple. I want my clients to leave the tattoo shop knowing that they had the best experience and the best possible outcome of tattoo. I want the customer to think "damn, that's better than what I thought it was going to be. Anything else you'd like for prospective clients to know about you? I am a fun outgoing artist that fully engages with my clients. I love going over ideas and process in a very detailed manner so that my clients don't feel left out. I don't treat my clients as an object, I treat them like a human being. I am retired military and I don't treat this as my job, I treat this as my passion. I have a huge love for this industry and I love where I work and the people I work with. I've had the privilege to work at Ink Couture for the past 18 months, and I have loved every minute of it. |
