Ink Couture Tattoos San Pedro - 281 N location is home to award-winning resident tattoo artist, Mariana Rimoli.  Originally from Argentina and joining us from California, Mariana has grown international fame for her amazing black and grey realism, bold color work, and Japanese stylings.   

How long have you been tattooing professionally?
I have been tattooing professionally in licensed tattoo shops for 8 years internationally: Argentina, Spain, England and USA.

What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
Drawing has been my passion since I can remember, but I didn’t have the courage to start tattooing until I was 36 years old.

Tell us about your preferred style of work.
My preferred style of work is realism black and grey. But I also enjoy doing fine line, dot work, watercolor, color, small tattoos…

What inspires you as an artist?
The challenge is what inspired me. Trying new things and techniques to improve myself. 

Why should someone pick you for their next tattoo/to be their artist?
I always look for my client's best interest, the development of my designs are done paying close attention to my client's ideas, resulting in a very personalized piece. 

Anything else you'd like prospective clients to know about you?
As a tattoo artist I consider each piece should withstand the passage of time, and I developed good techniques to make it possible.
