How long have you been tattooing professionally?
I was first introduced to tattooing in 2016, but I have only been tattooing professionally (full time) since 2019.
What inspired you into the art of tattooing?
At first, I thought of tattooing as only a hobby, until I was introduced to the artist whom I consider to be my first mentor, sirktattoos. He was the one that told me I showed promise and that I could make tattooing my profession and since he had been tattooing for over 20 years, I know I could trust his judgement.
Tell us about your preferred style of work.
I try to stay versatile and welcome most styles, but I am best known for my black and grey work.
What inspires you as an artist?
As an artist, I draw inspiration from many outlets: whether it's studying black and white photography to deepen my understanding of light and shadows or looking to nature when I need inspiration for my color work. I am also heavily influenced by my peers in the industry. I am constantly studying tattoos, trying to be as objective as possible and incorporating the things that I like into my own work.
Why should someone pick you for their next tattoos/to be their artist?
When a client picks me to be their artist, they will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life with the guidance of an artist who will ensure that their tattoo is clean, readable, and flows with the natural curvature of your body.
Anything else you'd like for prospective clients to know about you?
I'm committed to providing my clients with custom artwork that they will be happy with for a lifetime.
